Sports Organization Winners

Top LARGE Youth Sports Organizations

  • Crystal American Little League: Crystal , MN

Winning this grant has helped us take a giant financial step toward our goal of providing a safer place for our children to play ball by starting upgrades and repair to our fields. We have two short terms goals. One is to keep registration fees the same as previous years; the second, major upgrades and repairs to our ball fields. Our intent is to use the money as part of a three-year field improvement project. The Liberty Mutual money allows us to start our improvements sooner rather than later, all while not having to raise our registration fees.

  • Duxbury Youth Hockey: Duxbury, MA

DYH would like to thank the folks at Responsible Sports and Liberty Mutual for their kind and generous offering. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate and look forward to participating in the future. We will proudly allocate it towards the DYH members for financial aid first, and then for purchasing additional ice time, if possible.

  • Great Valley Community Organization: Malvern, PA

GVCO’s values and mission emphasize sportsmanship and character. The coaches / parents embraced the concept of being a Responsible Sports Parent/Coach and showed how important those concepts are by completing the coursework. It demonstrates how a community can come together and rally for a cause. The grant will be split into 3 uses: It will provide about 10 children the opportunity to play basketball this season that couldn't afford to play. We will purchase additional equipment for our Challenger Gym program which supports children with physical and/or other special challenges. The remainder will be used to assist in the start of an elementary and middle-school aged girls volleyball program.

  • Redlands Swim Team: Redlands, CA

We have already assigned the grant money for use on purchasing two new custom-made deck boxes. One that will house new kick boards, and pool buoys. The other will house the medicine balls, stretch cords and a First Aid kit at the new pool that we will move into next year.
